Anna is a graduate of the Chalice of Repose Project School of Music-Thanatology, Class of 2000. She certified with Music-Thanatology Association International (MTAI) and served on the leadership council between 2002 and 2004, as well as co-chairing the Education Task Force. As a founding member, she served as music-thanatologist for SacredFlight from 2001 to 2004.
She was staff music-thanatologist for Mid-Columbia Medical Center, serving patients in the Columbia River Gorge from 2001 to 2015. She served as music-thanatologist on contract with Providence Hospice of the Gorge until September 2018. Anna was a core faculty member for the Music-Thanatology Training Program through Lane Community College from 2007-2015 and has also been a voice instructor, harp instructor and clinical mentor for students in that program.
